FIREWORKS were thrown from cars in Cleobury Mortimer in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, April 16).
They were thrown from cars being driven erratically in the vicinity of the Social Club in Love Lane and around the town.
A report has been received by West Mercia Police that two cars, a Grey Fiat Punto and a blue hatchback, no make or model known, were driving around Cleobury Mortimer and fireworks were being thrown from them.
The nature of the driving and the throwing of fireworks caused alarm and distress to people living in the area.
Police are describing the incident as anti-social behaviour and have launched an appeal for information.
Anyone who saw the incident in the area or who could help to identify those involved is asked to call 101 and refer to incident 0018S 160416. Information can be provided anonymously by calling CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111.
