I AM disappointed to read that Malvern Hills District Council have allocated money to pay architects to design a new toilet to replace the old one, and to give the public the choice.
History shows public consultation is more often than not a waste of resources with regularly only 5% bothering to reply and councils and government ignoring the majority wish.
We already have a design which the people of Tenbury liked and were disappointed that efforts made to save it failed. A new toilet should be built as it was and where it was; there are still parts of the roof decoration still available. Of course modern plumbing should be used inside.
