THE Playhouse Cinema, based at Leominster Community Centre, is presenting a selection of films until April.
These include two films by local filmmaker John Bulmer – Vincent the Dutchman (March 6 at 6pm) and Stick Fights and Lip Plates (March 27 at 6pm).
Andrei Tarko’s Stalker is on February 27 at 7.30pm. Bright Star, about John Keats’ relationship with Fanny Brawne, is on March 6 at 7.30pm. And An Education, starring Oscar-nominated Carey Mulligan is on March 27 at 7.30pm. There will also be a showing of student shorts at 6pm and a screening of The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus at 7.30pm on April 10.
