A BRAND-NEW café and delicatessen has been launched in Ludlow by a top local chef.
Marmalade Café and Deli is was opened by Olivier and Lynette Bossut, who also own the French Pantry. Mr Bossut is well-known in the local area for his previous work at Elliotts.
The café, which is run by the couple's son Ryan, sells Mr Bossut’s homemade marmalade in a range of flavours, as well as baked goods like breads and pastries.
Mrs Bossut said: "Being next door to the French Pantry we are keeping with the French theme. We are selling old fashioned French pastries."
Based in Tower Street in the former Dugan’s Patisserie, the café features a terrace garden as well as an indoor seating area.

Dugan’s Patisserie is still trading in Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire, after leaving its Ludlow premises in 2022. The shop in Tower Street had been open for six years.
The French Pantry and Marmalade are next door to each other, at 15 and 16 Tower Street, and are open Wednesday to Saturday every week.
The French Pantry has previously been featured in the Michelin Guide, which said: “This little piece of France sited on a town centre side street ticks all the bistro boxes – think checked tablecloths, studded banquettes and a classic menu of boldly flavoured dishes such as onion soup.”
