A Shropshire man has become an instant millionaire after scooping the top prize of £1,000,000 on the Black Pearl instant win game from the National Lottery.
The Shropshire local, known only as Mr T, has become one of over eight million players who win each week on the National Lottery’s range of games. Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Wow, fantastic news for Mr T who has become a millionaire overnight. Huge congratulations!”
Last month it was announced that another Shropshire local was set to be £1m better off, when Allwyn, operator of the National Lottery, confirmed that it had received a claim for the £1,000,000 prize from a ticket bought in the Shropshire area for the EuroMillions draw on January 16.
With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.
