GARDEN tools were stolen from a shed in Ludlow.

Two STIHL hedge cutters and a STIHL BG 86 leaf blower were all taken from a property in Stanton Road, near the A49, between 12.30am and 1.15am on Thursday, March 14.

Police officers from the Ludlow Safer Neighbourhood Team are now keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or heard or saw anything suspicious.

"If you have information this please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk," they said.

"If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

"Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime."

On its website, West Mercia Police has advice on how to keep your shed or garage safe and secure. This includes checking that your insurance covers the contents of your shed or outbuildings from theft, and ensuring everything is securely locked away.
