MARGARET SUSAN ASTBURY (nee Broome) of Hollywaste, Cleobury Mortimer Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday 20th October 2020, aged 86 years. Much loved wife to Bruce for over 64 years, loving mother to Amanda, Sarah and Andrew. Adored grandmother to Sophie, Jacob, Callum, Tarin, Isabelle, Scarlett, Max and Willoughby. Beloved sister to Kathleen, Rita and Brenda and Aunty Marg to all her nieces and nephews. A teacher and friend to many. Family was everything to Margaret as was her career in teaching, she loved and cared for every child that she taught and always hoped to inspire through kindness and example. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. "Angels shine light into all areas of life, helping you to see the light within all!" Keep on shining Margy. Due to current circumstances, there will be a small private family funeral on 10th November at St Mary's Church, Cleobury Mortimer. Any donations received in memory of Margaret will be given to Save the Children. Margaret had a lifelong commitment to raising money for Save the Children, raising thousands of pounds organising fundraising events in school with students and in her retirement.
