AFC Ludlow boss Dave Cooper called his side's latest home defeat a bad day at the office.
His side slipped to a 1-0 defeat by Team Dudley with the visitors notching the only goal of the game with 15 minutes to go.
Moments before the Dudley goalkeeper made a wonderful save from Dale Hodge which proved decisive.
"It was one of the best saves I've seen," said Cooper.
"He dived full stretch to push it over the bar. Then, from the corner, they broke away and scored."
Ludlow pushed for an equaliser late in the game but failed to get on the scoresheet.
Cooper said the defeat was his side's third 1-0 home defeat of the campaign, although he can have few complaints over the latest setback.
"To be fair we got what we deserved. We didn't play that well," he said.
"There was plenty of huff and puff but we didn't create a lot. It's a shame because last week we were very good.
"I think they just wanted it a bit more than us. It was just a bad day at the office."
The loss sees Ludlow drop a place to third in West Midlands League Division One table ahead of a busy couple of weeks when they are due to face the league's top two sides, starting with this Saturday's trip to second placed Wrens Nest.
"That will be a really tough test for us, and then we face Bromyard Town soon after who are top so we've got a difficult run of games coming up," said Cooper who fears he may lose Hodge who is due to return to university soon.
Ludlow are now five points off leaders Bromyard, who have lost just once all season but were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Shenstone Pathfinders on Saturday.
