Photographs and paintings by Zach Barber, Carol Bowen and Gordon Bailey are currently on display at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.
They gave people visiting the centre something to look at whist they took a break from taking part in the RSPB’s Great Garden Birdwatch.
The event, held to support the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch, with representatives from the RSPB, British Dragonfly Society and Butterfly Conservation.
There was also be information on bird species, making bird feeders, how best to feed birds, children’s craft activities and bird walks.
The Birdwatch is the biggest example of citizen science and helps experts to under stand how different species are getting on.
One feature of particular interest this year is the impact on bird numbers of what has so far been a very mild winter where more small birds may have survived than is usually the case.
