NEW pedestrian lights have been installed to make a Ludlow road safer, especially in the winter.
Cllr Vivienne Parry has welcomed the installation of the new ‘Halo’ lights in Sheet Road.
Mrs Parry, who is deputy mayor of Ludlow and the Shropshire councillor for Ludlow south, has been campaigning for the lights that she says are needed to make the road safer and motorists more aware of the crossing.
“These lights are much brighter and will make the crossing at the junction of Sheet Road and Foldgate Road safer after dark,” said Mrs Parry.
“I would like to thank Jason Hughes of Shropshire Council for his work on this.”
