COMMUNITY meetings are being held to consider the future of a village church near Craven Arms.
The Parochial Church Council is inviting people to attend a community conversation about the future of St Thomas’ Church in Halford.
The Church building is an important community asset, which has stood in this village for centuries, and has the potential to be used by the local community, both as a place of worship and as a building that can be used to meet local needs. However, the church faces repairs needed to make the church building fit for use. For that reason, there will be a consultation with people who live in the parish and those who are interested in the future of the Church.
People are invited to attend one of two public meetings to share ideas and consider the options about the future on: Saturday, November 20 at Halford Church – 10.30 – 11.30 and on Saturday, November 27 at the Pilgrim Centre, Craven Arms – 10.30-11.30
