LUDLOW families will be able to take part in a Christmas celebration in the town this evening.
The stars of the show is a real donkey, Ludlow Town Band that played festive music and those taking part in some street theatre.
It is a ‘living nativity’ that starts at the Peace Memorial in the town Centre and makes its way to the Castle.
There will also be hot chocolate and mince pies to keep the cold and any hunger at bay.
The evening is held on the day of what was to have been Ludlow’s second December Tinsel Tuesday market.
However, because of the threat of a storm the first market was cancelled.
The event gives families the chance to get together in a festive atmosphere and in a small way made up the disappointment of the cancellation of the Medieval Fayre and switch on of the Christmas lights that was to have taken place at the end of November until it was wrecked by a heavy overnight storm.
