A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been banned from the roads after he was caught drink-driving.
Scott Myers entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 57-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Peugeot 306 while over the drink-drive limit in Orleton's Station Road on November 13.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 146 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80.
Myers, of Little Hereford, was fined £240 and disqualified from driving for 17 months. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
