LUDLOW rugby superstar Lark Davies admitted she felt “unbelievable” after being named player of the match as England clinched a fourth successive Women’s Six Nations title.
Davies’ pinpoint throwing played a large in all of England’s three tries as they came from behind to beat France 24-12 in Bayonne to complete a 16th Grand Slam.
“This is what we work for: crowds like this, games like this,” said former Orleton Primary School and Ludlow College student Davies, 27.
“We didn’t make it easy for ourselves but it’s unbelievable. I couldn’t be prouder of the team and what we’ve achieved.”
