Ludlow Mayor Glenn Ginger laid a wreath at a ceremony at the war memorial. The event involved members of the Royal British Legion, St Laurence Church and Town Council in a service to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands conflict that followed the invasion of the islands in the south Atlantic by Argentine forces. It led to the invaders defeat.
