LUDLOW based Islabikes, a leading manufacturer of premium lightweight bikes for children and adults, has announced the launch of its newest products, adult versions of the Creig and Luath, two designs targeted at adults between 4’11” and 5’9” tall.
Refusing to leave behind people who find that conventionally sized adult bikes are uncomfortable or simply do not fit, Islabikes continues to redefine adult bike fit with unique size offerings, each with carefully scaled frames and components.
These versatile designs are for people who want to try different types of riding or want one bike which is as suitable for adventures in the summer as it is commuting during the week, and were made possible with obsessive attention to fit all critical components.
Most women and below average height men are poorly catered for, depriving them of bicycles that maximise their comfort, efficiency and safety when cycling.
“The feedback we’ve had so far has been incredible; that after decades of riding and ‘making do’ with what was available, finally someone has noticed that if the frame is smaller, maybe the fit critical components should be too.” said Tim Goodall, Managing Director.
