AN ATTACKER has been handed an alcohol ban after attacking two police officers in a Shropshire town and failing to turn up to court.
Nicola McAleenan was sentenced by magistrates in Kidderminster in March after she was convicted of one count of assaulting an emergency worker by beating, one count of assaulting an emergency worker, and one count of failing to surrender to police or court bail at the appointed time.
The court heard from prosecutor Valerie Hart that the 53-year-old had assaulted a police officer who was acting in the course of her duties by beating in Craven Arms, Shropshire, on September 26.

She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £185 and a £114 victim surcharge.
