REVELLERS gathered at Ludlow's historic castle to mark the coronation of King Charles III at the weekend.
Dozens headed to the castle grounds to take part in the national Big Lunch celebrations on Sunday, May 7.
The event, organised in collaboration with Ludlow Town Council and Ludlow Chamber of Trade, offered free admission and food and drink vendors on site, while visitors were also encouraged to bring their own picnic.

Ludlow's Big Lunch was one of many events held to celebrate the May 6 coronation, which saw more than 2,000 guests gather in Westminster Abbey and the largest military ceremonial operation in 70 years.
It was followed by local Big Lunch events which took place up and down the country, some of which were joined by members of the Royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended a big lunch in Cranleigh while the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence visited a community street party in Swindon, and Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie joined a big lunch in Windsor.
