A DAY of fun was had at a Tenbury Wells residential home to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
King Charles and Queen Camilla were crowned in a grand ceremony attended by guests from across the world at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6, with a weekend of celebrations following.

Residents at The Old Rectory in Tenbury Wells marked the historic day with an arts and crafts session, and a performance from the Burford School Choir.

A spokesperson for the home said residents were also treated to a "brilliant barbecue" in the garden, with family members coming along to join the fun.
The celebrations also included a trip to St Mary's church, where community volunteers put on a bake sale, raffle, tombola, and music.
"The residents loved the warm atmosphere and delicious cakes," the spokesperson said.
