A DANCE team has performed at a major event after beating off stiff competition.
Attitude Dance Studios, based in Stanford Bridge, between Tenbury Wells and Worcester, successfully auditioned and were selected to perform at U.Dance West Midlands 2023.

As part of the application process, they had to record and submit their video entry to the U.Dance panel, where they were selected along with a handful of dance youth companies and colleges to perform at the West Midlands Regional.

The students worked incredibly hard on a contemporary piece with choreographer and principal, Kara Soper, to create ‘Somnus’, a dance which explores ideas of night and sleep.
“Performing at the Patrick Theatre inside the Birmingham Hippodrome was an incredible achievement and exciting opportunity for our performance team," Ms Soper said.
"We are so honoured to have been selected to take part in such a brilliant day and to share the stage with such outstanding, talented young dancers from across the West Midlands."
