STIR-fried foraged greens will be on the menu during a fun-filled week at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre this May half term.
The Craven Arms centre’s half-term family activity, Backyard Survival, is on daily from May 29 until June 2 from 1pm to 2.30pm and is £4.50 per accompanied five to 11-year-old.
Children can find out about surviving out of doors by filtering water, picking 'spring greens' to taste as a stir fry, making a ‘one-minute’ fire and building a den. Booking is essential.
