HUNDREDS of pounds were raised at the annual Burford Church fete on Sunday (July 16).
Most of the event had to be moved indoors due to the adverse weather, but that did not dampen spirits.
The Tenbury Town Band entertained visitors, with tea and cake stalls, a teddy zip wire, a tombola and plenty of stalls and games all being on show.
In a post on its Facebook page, St Mary's Church, Burford said: "Thank you everyone who came to our indoor fete.
"We had lots of visitors who enjoyed cake, rat splatting, teddy xipping and bought a huge amount of bic a brac.
"All together, we raised a massive £869.50."
