A SHROPSHIRE driver has been ordered by a court to pay hundreds of pounds after committing an offence.
Stephen Mark Jones was proven guilty of one count of failing to provide information relating to the driver or rider of a vehicle when required by magistrates in Bath.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 27-year-old had been required to provide information relating to the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence, to police in Avon and Somerset on January 13.
But, magistrates were told, Jones had failed to provide that information to officers when requested to do so.
Jones, of Roman Downs, Craven Arms, was fined £660 and received six penalty points on his driving licence for the offence.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £264 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
