Ludlow is likely to experience warm weather and thunderstorms throughout the rest of August, despite the dreary conditions at the start of the month.
While Europe has seen record temperatures boil certain countries, hitting the extreme in some cases, the UK has been the complete opposite.
Rain and wind have been the story so far this summer, and although this weather has continued so far in August, that all might be about to change.
According to the weather forecaster the Met Office, unsettled conditions will continue, but then there should be some more dry and settled weather to see out the month, bringing hope of a warm end to summer.

The forecast says Ludlow will get some nice warm days with more sun than we’ve had so far this month but is also likely to get a few thunderstorms.
Temperatures could get as high as 25 degrees.
The Met Office’s long-range forecast reads: “An unsettled start to the period is most likely, with heavy rain and thunderstorms clearing north-eastwards. Rather cloudy and at times humid conditions are likely to follow and some showers. Beyond this, changeable conditions are most likely; a small change of a more settled weather developing early next week which could turn hot, but otherwise a mixture of sunny spells and cloudy weather with showers is the most likely. Winds will be mostly light to moderate. Temperatures are most likely to be a little above average overall. A changeable pattern is likely towards the end of August and into early September. There is a probability for storms developing within warm interludes.”
