THE 55th annual Eastham Riverside Fete has yet again been a great success.
The event, held at Eastham Village Hall, boasted attractions such as Mike's Donkeys, Malvern Chase Brass Band, tombola, skittles and a coconut shy.
Birds of prey, a selection of vintage cars and tractors and more were on display as well as a silent auction with a range of great prizes including meals at various local eateries, vouchers, days out including Tenby's Dinosaur Park, Shelsley Hill Climb, Monkey Mania and more, flowers, an evening out wassailing, a builder's bag of logs, and an MOT.
Kushal Phuyal, who has played internationally for Nepal, took charge of the fetes football game.
There was also a fun dog show with 10 classes and a produce show with 80 classes.
The winners of the produce cups are as follows:
- The Eastham Parish Cup for the most points in class A - Tina Lord
- The C Buckingham-Bawden Cup for the winner in class A number 1-5 - Tina Lord
- The Miss F Morris Cup for the most points in class B - Mel Cummings
- The Lilly Lanman memorial rose bowl for the best display of roses in class A number 11 - Pip McConnlage
- The Eastham Mens Cup for the most points in class C - Colin Lord
- The George Hipkiss Memorial Cup for the most points in the Bean classes No 24.25.46 - Colin Lord
- The Mr B Leason Memorial Cup for the most points in the onion classes - Colin Lord
- The Mr Moseley Cup for the most points in class D - Rachel Lavender
- The Eastham Parish cup for the most points in class E - Deborah Rochelle
- The Molley Yarnold Cup for the most points in class F, children 10 - 16 - Isabell Andrews
- The Nora Edwards Memorial Cup the best exhibit in show - Rossie Sprag
- The Mr C Norman MBE Memorial cup for the best container of sweet peas - Mr Worsley
