A MUSIC festival near Cleobury Mortimer has been postponed 'due to lower ticket sales'.
The event was due to take place over the weekend of September 1 and 2, with DJ Lisa Lashes and pop rock band, Scouting for Girls headlining.
However, organisers have said that 'unforseen circumstances' has forced them to postpone the event to next year.
A post on its Facebook page reads: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that Hungry Hill Festival 2023 has been postponed 'til 2024.
"But don't worry, your tickets are transferable, and all tickets purchased for this year will remain valid for the rescheduled 2024 dates.
"Scouting for Girls and several other amazing artists from this year's lineup will still be performing in 2024. While we're deeply saddened by this decision, we appreciate your understanding and support. Your commitment means the world to us, and we want to thank each and every one of you for being part of our journey.
"We want to emphasise that hosting the event with such low numbers would put us in serious financial difficulty. Events like ours thrive when tickets are secured in advance, and unfortunately, a tough decision had to be made to ensure we can successfully run the event next year. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
"The success of our event relies on your support, and we regretfully faced challenges this year due to lower ticket sales. We look forward to your continued support in making the 2024 event a reality.
"We put our hearts and hard work into this event, but sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise. Rest assured, we're determined to make the 2024 festival even more spectacular.
"Your tickets and vendor fees will seamlessly transfer to next year's event.
"Thank you for your unwavering support and belief in us. We can't wait to create unforgettable memories with you in 2024. Stay tuned for more updates and details."
Next year's festival will take place on August 30 and 31. Anyone who wants more information or has any concerns is asked to email hungryhillfestival@gmail.com
