THREE former students of Tenbury High Ormiston Academy have achieved top grades at A Level after studying at Hereford Sixth Form College (HSFC).
Among these was Tenbury Advertiser reporter Joshua Dyer who achieved two A* and two B grades and said “Hereford Sixth Form College gave me the tools I need to achieve”.
Adam Lewis, who went to HSFC from Tenbury, will be studying for a degree in materials with nuclear engineering at Imperial College London after achieving two As and two Bs.
Cory Lines was the third student to attend HSFC after finishing at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy, and has accepted a place to study Economics and Management at Oxford University (Keble College).

Catherine Brearey, College Principal at Hereford Sixth Form College, was delighted with the excellent performance saying, “These results reflect incredibly well upon our hard-working students and dedicated staff after a challenging couple of years.
"I am extremely proud of all our students and delighted that they have strong foundations on which to build.
"Many will be going to university, with a high proportion to higher tier universities, with others securing highly competitive apprenticeships.
"Our students should be very proud of their achievements, and we can’t wait to hear what they have accomplished in a few years’ time. Well done to you all!”
This year's A Levels at HSFC exceeded the national level with an overall pass rate of 99.4 per cent.
Top performing students were on par with the leading independent, state schools and colleges in the country. Applied courses also exceeded the national average with an overall pass rate of 99.7 per cent. A remarkable 40 HSFC students achieved all A* and A grades with 96 students achieving three A* and A or distinction grades, or more.
