One student, Oona Herbert, achieved four grade 9s in biology, English language, French and geography. She also achieved grades 8 and 7 in her other subjects.
Meanwhile, Cameron Irvine and Oliver Lawes secured grades 8 and 7 in many of their subjects, and Luana Moreira did incredibly well in languages, with a grade 9 in Spanish and a grade 8 in French.
GCSEs are now graded using numbers 9 to 1 rather than letters A* to G.
The highest grade is 9, equivalent to an A*, 7 and 8 are aligned with a grade A, 6 can be equated to a B with 5 sitting between C and B grades, and 4 is considered a pass, similarly to a grade C.
