A HEREFORDSHIRE drinks business has opened a second premises in Ludlow.
Vine and Juniper, an independent beverage store that was established in 2019, has opened its new branch in King Street.
The company’s Herefordshire location, in Leominster's High Street, has been hugely successful over the previous years, offering locals an extensive selection of wines, spirits, local beers, and ciders.
Chris Dixon of Vine and Juniper, said: “We take great pride in delivering exceptional customer service and offering a carefully curated selection of quality wines.
"With an extensive range of over sixty gins sourced from local and regional distillers, the shop is a haven for gin enthusiasts. Vine & Juniper actively supports nearby distillers, wineries, and brewers."
The Mayor of Ludlow, Councillor Glenn Ginger, alongside Mayoress Gabriella, officially opened the new shop.
Cllr Ginger said: “Ludlow Town Council are delighted to welcome Vine and Juniper to the vibrant street scene of Ludlow.
“It is so important for a market town such as Ludlow to see empty shops filled with committed local independent traders.
"It’s a boost to the town's economy and valuable that these enterprises believe in Ludlow's unique appeal and join in our trading experience. As a Council, we wish Vine and Juniper all the best for the future.”
Whilst Vine and Juniper is the only shop of its kind in Leominster, the new store will be joining two other wine retailers, Majestic Wines and Bentley’s Wine Merchants in Ludlow.
