HAVE you ever fancied yourself as a bit of a talent show judge or love a bit of stand up comedy?
Then, Ludlow Assembly Rooms could have the gig for you.
The award-winning Comedy Hotspot have been searching for the next big thing in British comedy. Hundreds of comedians applied, with 20 making it through to the semi final heats.
Each of the heat winners will now be coming to the Assembly Rooms next Thursday (September 14) and will be hoined by the best second placed act.
Each of the five participants will be performing 15 minutes of comedy, with the audience deciding the winner.
The event will start at 7.30pm, with Joe Rowntree, who has appeared on many TV shows, hosting. The stand-up comedian, actor, writer and presenter started his career writing put-downs for Anne Robinson on The Weakest Link.
He has hosted two UK tours of "Brainiac Live" which culminated at the Hammersmith Apollo after appearing in all six series of the award-winning hit Sky 1 show Brainiac: Science Abuse.
