A WELL-KNOWN comedian will be appearing in Tenbury next month.
Andy Parsons will be visiting the town as part of his touring show, Bafflingly Optimistic.
He was best known as one of the lynchpins of Mock the Week before leaving the program in 2015. He has also written for Spitting Image, appeared on Live at the Apollo and fronted his own Radio 2 series, as well as the podcast, Slacktivist Action Group.
Talking about the show, Mr Parsons said: “It's partly about parenting and what kids need to understand about the world.
“I think there are reasons to be hopeful. It's not a depressing show, you won't want that on your night out. It's full of big laughs. The positive side is the pandemic is over, we are statistically more united as a nation than it might seem. And despite what you've heard, comics are not being cancelled.
‘Baffingly Optimistic’ will be coming to the Regal on October 27 at 8pm.
The show can also be caught at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford the next day.
