AS the impact of Storm Babet continues, roads in and around Tenbury Wells are shut due to flooding.
Worcestershire Highways was forced to close roads and bridges following a day of heavy rain yesterday.
Tenbury Bridge, Teme Street and Market Street in Tenbury are shut for safety reasons.
Worcestershire Highways has advised drivers not to venture out, but has said that those who do should avoid floodwater.
Drivers who do navigate floodwater need to be careful as it can be hard to tell how deep it is before driving through it.
Drivers and vehicles can become stranded, with floodwater severely damaging motors.
Leah Williams, a member of the Tenbury Wells Matters Facebook group, posted: "I appreciate some people will desperately need to get through to the other side but a car has sped through the flood water and thrown extra water into the properties causing more devastation. It only just made it. I've seen other cars speed down Teme Street this morning too. Slow down!"
