IT was a full house when Ludlow Civic Society recently staged its Open Forum on Lower Corve Street in Ludlow.
Members of the Rooftop Theatre Company supported the event by dramatising the story of the men and boys living in this industrial quarter of Ludlow who fought in World War One.
The company’s next performance, under the banner ‘Rooftop Theatre presents Shakespeare at the Brewery’, is “Much Ado About Nothing”.
This freshly reimagined production of Shakespeare's war of the sexes takes place at 7.30 pm in Ludlow Brewery from November 4 to 11, excluding November 8.
On Thursday November 9, there will be an after-show interview and Q & A session with cast members, hosted by Clare Smout, a newly-local university lecturer who specialises in Shakespeare and Greek Drama.
Tickets cost £15, and are available from The Castle Bookshop, Ludlow, 01584 872562, or online through Rooftop's website www.rooftoptheatre.co.uk
