A MILITARY aeroplane has been spotted over Ludlow and Tenbury this morning (November 23).
A Royal Air Force Airbus A400M Atlas flew around Herefordshire, having taken off from Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, soared over Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Hereford and Leominster, and then headed up over Ludlow and Tenbury.
It began its journey at 11.16am and was still flying over the area as of 11.50am.
The Airbus A400M Atlas replaced the role of the C-130J Hercules, a plane which was retired earlier this year for the new aircraft.
This aircraft has played a major role in recent RAF operations around the world, including Operation Pitting where the UK Armed Forces evacuated 2,500 personnel from Kabul, and Operation Polar Bear evacuating 2,000 people from Sudan.
