FIRE crews, including from Tenbury, were called to a fire in a garage at a Herefordshire home, as a car was alight.
The fire was in a detached garage in Pudleston near Leominster, on Saturday (December 16) at 8.55am.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Leominster and Tenbury Wells Fire Stations were called at 8.55am on December 16 to Pudleston, Leominster. A car on fire in a detached garage was extinguished before the arrival of the fire service.
"Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus dampened down the vehicle using one hosereel jet. There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 10.24am."
Tenbury Wells Fire Station is part of Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service. The station covers a large geographical area, giving support to neighbouring stations at Leominster, Bromyard and Bewdley, as well as assistance to Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
