POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl died following a fatal crash in Shropshire (Tuesday November 28) on the B4376 in Much Wenlock.
Officers received reports of a single vehicle crash involving a Vauxhall Corsa near to Bell Hole Cottage at around 6.20pm.
Sadly, a girl aged 17, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Police are keen to speak to a someone who was first on the scene after the collision took place. The woman they would like to speak to is described as around 30 to 40 years old, white and driving a dark coloured 4x4 car who was travelling in the Much Wenlock to Broseley direction.
