A MAN was injured after a car overturned on a Herefordshire road, near Ludlow.
West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) were called to the B4362 in Lucton, between Leominster and Ludlow, shortly before 8.30pm last night (December 28).
On arrival firefighters found that one car was on its roof and a man was injured, a fire service spokesperson said. They added that only one car was involved in the crash.
A spokesperson for HWFRS said: "A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Kingsland Fire Station was called at 8.28pm on December 28 to the B4362 in Lucton. The incident involved one vehicle which was on its roof. Police also attended. The incident was left with police and marked as pending closure at 9.01pm."
Traffic had to be managed by police while emergency workers dealt with the scene.
The man suffered minor injuries in the crash, however we understand that West Midlands Ambulance Service was not called to the scene.
