THIS week, flood warnings and alerts have been in place around Tenbury as rain has been falling on saturated ground.
There has been a flood warning for the river Teme, and three alerts for the Ledwyche Brook and river Rea, lower Teme and river Lugg north of Leominster.
The flood warning says: "Flooding of property is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads at Tenbury Wells and Burford including the A4112 Market Street and Teme Street in Tenbury Wells.
"Further rainfall is forecast, and we expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation.
The Environment Agency warned that, with river levels rising, some footpaths and driving routes would be flooded.
"River levels are high. Plan routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers," the agency said.
There were also Met Office warnings for wind and rain, covering the Midlands and large areas of the rest of the UK.
In the warnings, the Met Office said: "Windy weather will be accompanied by heavy rain in places.
"Very windy conditions are likely to quickly develop and then spread eastwards across southern and some central parts of England. Winds will ease from the west.
"Check if you could be at risk of flooding. If so, consider a flood plan and an emergency flood kit."
