A WOMAN and a child were safely found at a South Shropshire beauty spot after there were concerns for their safety.
Police were called to Long Mynd in Church Stretton at around 5.30pm on Monday (January 8).
Following a search, officers found the pair.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were also requested to attend after receiving a call from the police. However, as the pair were found, their assistance wasn't necessary.
Meanwhile, two fire crews were called to deal with a tractor fire in Bishop's Castle shortly before 1.40pm on Sunday (January 7).
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to take the blaze that happened at Reilth Farm.
And on Saturday (January 6), four fire engines were sent to Station Road in Ludlow at just after 1.15pm to deal with a chimney fire.
The blaze spread to the roof ridge and adjoining unit that was used for storing timber and wood. Crews in breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and covering jet to tackle the fire, as well as a thermal image camera.
The aerial ladder platform team from Telford was also in use to remove tiles from the affected roof area.
