LUDLOW Assembly Rooms has announced its programme for February.
You can delve into a music journey that spans genres and styles, with an array of talented acts. This includes Scotland’s ‘chamber-folk’ quartet RANT and a partnership between Peter Knight (Steeleye Span) and John Spiers (Bellowhead).
If you'd like to make an evening of it, you can come to Bill’s Kitchen for a two-course meal and live music as part of the Jazz or Folk Café. Blending vocal harmonies and storytelling, Warp and Weft will be playing at the February Folk Café, and Edward Gauden will be at the Jazz Café.
If chamber music is more your style, the world-renowned Brodsky Quartet will be once again performing in Ludlow, this time with the versatile British Pianist, Danny Driver.
Nature enthusiasts are in for a treat too, with a fascinating talk from Andrew Laurie (a Shropshire born Zoologist) about the Dippers of Altai.
You can hear about how his fascination with these birds took him to Mongolia, discover more about their lives, and how they are good indicators of water quality.
The Assembly Rooms is also inviting families to join Peppa Pig in celebrating her 20th anniversary. This special event features 10 never-before-seen Peppa Pig episodes, with the voices of Katy Perry as Ms Leopard and Orlando Bloom as Mr Raccoon.
