A SOUTH Shropshire driver has been fined by magistrates after she was caught speeding on a busy main road in the county.
Elizabeth Grace Gardner entered a guilty plea to one count of exceeding a 30 miles per hour speed limit to magistrates in Worcester in January.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 42-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a Kia in a 30 miles per hour zone on the A4169 Farley Road in Much Wenlock on March 26.
She was clocked speeding by manned camera equipment, the court was told.
Gardner, of Abdon, Craven Arms, was fined £100 and received three penalty points for the offence, with magistrates saying that they had taken her guilty plea to the charge into account when coming to their decision on the penalty.
She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £40 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
