A LIVE music and dance event is coming to Ludlow later this month.
Local band Join the Dots will be hosting a ceilidh, a no-experience-necessary social evening of traditional British country dances that are led by a caller, at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms from 7.30 pm on February 23.
Adult tickets cost £10, with children's tickets at £5 and pre-ceilidh dinners are available at Bill’s Kitchen for £15.
Band member Greg Clare said: “We have played for the Fringe at their Ludlow brewery midsummer’s ceilidh, now is your chance to dance away those winter blues!
“Come along to an uplifting evening of joyful, foot-stomping tunes and easy-to-pick-up called dances, no partner needed, with a lively four-piece band that delivers a fresh and fun night out.
“Simply come and listen to the music or whirl away to upbeat tunes from homegrown, Celtic and European traditions.
“It is hard to resist, whether you’re an old hand or don’t even know how to pronounce it: you’ll always have fun at a ceilidh.”
