A FREE drop-in event will offer advice to Tenbury locals looking for help on keeping their home and property safe from crime.
Organised by Malvern Hills District Council, the drop-in event will offer advice on a wide range of preventative security measures to reduce the likelihood of being a victim of theft or burglary.
Trained officers from the council’s community safety team will be on hand to discuss any crime prevention questions and offer advice on how to maximise the chances of having stolen property rightfully returned.
Items covered at the event include physical home security measures for doors, windows, locks, CCTV, perimeter security including hedges, fencing, CCTV and lighting, and a free home property marking service.
The event is coming to The Pump Rooms in Tenbury on February 29, and will be open from 5pm to 7pm.
Councillor Natalie McVey, who is responsible for community safety at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “These events are a great way to raise community awareness, give advice and practical tips, and help reduce the fear of crime. The Malvern Hills District is a low crime district, and we want to keep it that way.”
