A DRINK-DRIVER who was caught in a red Honda has been banned from the roads and fined.
Heidi Booth, from Elizabeth Mews in Cleobury Mortimer, was caught at the Stoneylane Junction, with the A417 Ludlow Road to Bitterley Lane, on December 23 last year.
She was found to be driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
A breath test found the 49-year-old had 51 microgrammes (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 mg, meaning Booth was 16 mg over the limit.
Booth pleaded guilty on February 20 at Telford Magistrates' Court.
She has been banned from driving for 12 months for drink-driving but has the opportunity to reduce this ban by 12 weeks if she completes a drink-driving awareness course.
She was made to pay more than £300 for drink-driving, totalling at £303, with this made up of a £120 fine, £135 in court costs and a £48 victim surcharge.
