AN EASTER egg trail will kick off a town museum's new season.
Bishop’s Castle’s House on Crutches museum reopens on Good Friday with a children’s Easter egg trail, running each afternoon from Good Friday to Tuesday, April 2.
The House on Crutches museum is housed in a fascinating late-medieval building on the cobbles at the side of the town hall and brings the stories of Bishop’s Castle alive.
Run entirely by volunteers, the museum will be open from 1.30pm and 4.30pm every Saturday and Sunday as well as on bank holidays until the end of September after reopening on Good Friday, March 29.
Admission to the House on Crutches, which was established in 1993 as a local heritage store, archive, and activity centre to celebrate local history and keep it in the community is free, although donations are always welcome. They are the museum’s main source of income and help keep it open.
