AN opportunity to embrace your creative side is coming to Ludlow with an art workshop.

Artist Marina Morris is hosting an oil painting class for people to develop their skills, complete with refreshments available throughout the day. All painting materials are provided except for brushes, which guests will need to bring.

You will need to book quickly as there are a limited number of spaces on the workshop.

It will take place at the Mascall Centre on April 6, and bookings can be made by calling 07552761012 or emailing smarger@btinternet.com.

Ms Morris said: "Have you ever thought and would like to learn to paint? Then why not join us and get creative in a painting workshop? It is a great way to try oil painting ideal for the complete beginner and also for the more experienced artist.

"This painting workshop will have you painting and completing your very own painting to take away home.

"You will need to bring brushes along with you. Light refreshments are provided free but you are advised to bring lunch."

On her website, she describes the classes as helpful for those who want to "create a great artwork" and learn "some great tips and information on materials".
