A friendly group of volunteers who are working to improve Craven Arms is looking for new members to join them.
Craven Arms Volunteers for the Environment, CAVE 23 began their projects last year after being formed from the former CAVE.
The group currently has a limited number of helpers who give their time when possible.
Recent projects have included replanting and caring for all the planters in town and clearing the weeds from Drovers Square and other areas.
Further work has been undertaken to deal with the shrubbery, clearing the tall weeds, strimming and pruning the area by the town pedestrian crossing.
A regular litter pick is currently operating, but due to the limited number of volunteers this can only take place on a monthly basis.
The group is in urgent need of additional help from residents who are keen to contibuting to the group's efforts to keep their local environment maintained and improved.
If you are interested in joining the group, please message WhatsApp group secretary Rachel on 07855 513434.
