A local branch of a national charity is celebrating the success of its latest fundraising sale.

Ludlow’s NCT (National Childbirth Trust) branch held its biannual nearly new sale at Ludlow Racecourse earlier this month, hosting more than 30 stalls of pre-loved baby and children’s items and raising £400 for the charity in the process.

Branch chair Nicola Twiddy said: “Our nearly new sales are always hugely popular and this event was no different.

“Our brilliant team of volunteers once again organised a successful event for sellers and buyers, with lots of bargains snapped up and much-needed funds raised for our branch in the process.

She added that the team is looking for any feedback from anybody who attended this month’s event.
