A LUDLOW man caught sending indecent videos has pleaded guilty.
Brad Collier admitted sending two indecent or grossly offensive videos intended to cause his victim distress or anxiety.
He sent the videos via Whatsapp on September 24, 2022, according to Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Sharan Gill.
The offending took place in Craven Arms near Ludlow according to court documents. The indecent videos were said to have been for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the woman he sent them to or any other person with whom he intended they would be shared.
Collier, 25, of Ludlow, was charged with one count of sending communication of an indecent or offensive nature and entered a guilty plea when he appeared before Telford magistrates last month, on May 22.
He was sentenced to a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £300 in compensation to the victim, as well as prosecution costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
