AN ARREST has been made after a man was stabbed in Ludlow.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene after receiving a call in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called to Corve Street in Ludlow at around 12.20am on Sunday, June 23 following a report of a stabbing."
Paramedics were also on scene, with an ambulance service spokesperson confirmed that they were called to reports of a stabbing in the street just after midnight on June 23.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a man with serious but not life-threatening injuries," the spokesperson said.
"He received treatment before being conveyed to hospital."
West Mercia Police confirmed that a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and assault.
The man has since been released on bail, but enquiries are still ongoing, a police spokesperson said.
